On April 26, 2016, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division applied for and received two search warrants to be executed in Tom Green County in a continuing criminal investigation. A search warrant was executed at a residence in the 300 block of North Irene, San Angelo, Texas where methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, K2 and a firearm which had been reported stolen was recovered. A search warrant was also executed at a residence on Cinnamon Road in Tom Green County where additional amounts of methamphetamine and a firearm was seized.

As a result of the execution of the warrants, investigators seized the following:

• Approximately two kilos of methamphetamine
• Approximately one kilo of marijuana
• 150 grams of K2
• 17 grams of Cocaine
• Two firearms

MARIO MORENO, a 36 year old male of San Angelo, was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on a charge of Parole Violation. The investigation is continuing and additional arrests and charges will be filed.

The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations assisted the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office in the execution of the warrants and investigation.
