Sheriff David Jones would like to take the opportunity to thank the involved citizens of San Angelo who have made numerous calls concerning the location of Wanted Fugitive Gustavo Sorola.

At approximately 10:04pm on September 1, 2016, one of these calls paid off and resulted in the arrest of Gustavo Sorola who had recently been profiled on both the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office web page and local news outlets. 

Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office effected the arrest at 520 N. Bryant and Sorola was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident. 

Sorola was charged with: 

KIDNAPPING,AGGRAVATED ROBBERY,UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE,PAROLE VIOLATION 

Bond for Sorola has been set at: $135,000.00
