The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is pleased to announce that Texas DPS  Regional Director Orlando Alanis will speak on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the flag raising ceremony to begin police week.  Director Alanis is one of seven (7) Regional Directors of the Texas Department of Public Safety.  As the Regional Director for the West Texas Region, Alanis is responsible for all DPS related activity, personnel and response in 36 west Texas counties.   

The flag raising ceremony will include city, county, and state peace officers and is scheduled to be conducted on the east parking lot of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, 222 W. Harris, San Angelo, Texas.    The public is invited to attend and show their support.
