SHERIFF'S OFFICE EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANT AND SEIZES LARGE QUANTITY OF METHAMPHETAMINE

On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, as a result of a narcotics investigation, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 3000 block of Travis Street in San Angelo.  During the execution of the warrant, Deputies located and seized approximately 5.4 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 0.5 pounds of marijuana, and $7,100 in cash.  Additionally, one firearm was seized from the residence.  The suspected party, John Bonner, 43 years of age, was not on scene at the time of the search warrant.  Arrest warrants for Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance >=400g and Possession of Marijuana >=4oz<5lb have been issued for John Bonner.   Anyone with information on John Bonner's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department, or Crime Stoppers.
