On Friday, August 26, 2022, Deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office conducted a joint operation with the San Angelo Police Department to capture a dangerous fugitive.  The operation resulted in the capture and arrest of Juan Morales, age 38, from a residence in San Angelo.  Juan Morales was a fugitive from justice and had a total of twelve warrants for his arrest out of Tom Green County.  Ten of the warrants were for felony violations.  Morales was wanted on four warrants for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, three warrants for Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle, and several warrants for Possession of Controlled Substance.

Juan Morales had previously fled from law enforcement on multiple occasions and had caused numerous vehicle crashes which resulted in citizens being injured.  The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the San Angelo Police Department and the Center for Tactical Medicine for their assistance in this operation.
