On November16, 2016, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division obtained a search warrant for a residence located on Concho Drive in the Grape Creek area. The search warrant authorized the investigators to search for and seize items containing child pornography.  

Tom Green County Sheriff’s Investigators acting on a crime tip began an investigation to identify the suspect and the location where the child pornography was stored.   Investigators learned through investigative techniques information that identified SHAUNDEL REY WINDOM as a suspect in the investigation. On November 16, 2016, TGSO Investigators executed the search warrant at WINDOM’S residence. WINDOM admitted to investigators that he viewed, downloaded and was in possession of child pornography. Investigators seized electronic devices that displayed numerous images and video recordings that contained images and videos of Child Pornography depicting children younger than 18 years of age engaging in sexual conduct.

On November 16, 2016, SHAUNDEL REY WINDOM was arrested by Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies for Possession of Child Pornography and placed in the Tom Green County Jail. Bail for WINDOM has been set at $30,000.00. Possession of Child Pornography is a third degree felony offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison but not less than 2 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000.00.
