The fleeing vehicle traveled above posted speed limits and disregarded traffic stops signs as it traveled through residential streets on the North and South sides in San Angelo in an attempt to elude deputies.

Monroe but was unsuccessful and crashed into the All Vac Center building.  The three occupants in the vehicle fled the scene on foot north of the crash site.  A male suspect was as apprehended on South Madison Street while the female suspect was taken into custody near the crash site.  The third suspect, a Hispanic male is still at large.

San Angelo Medics were called to the scene and transported the female suspect to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries.  The Sheriff’s Office will be seeking warrants for both the female suspect and male suspect.  During the investigation, it was found the vehicle involved in this incident was reported stolen out of Johnson County.

As a result of the investigation the following person was charged:

Alfonso Alfonso Silva, 25 years of age, Evading Arrest Detention W/Veh or Watercraft ( State Jail Felony) and Unauth Use of Vehicle ( State Jail Felony)

The punishment for a State Jail Felony is not more than 2 years or less than 180 days, with a fine not to exceed $10,000.00.
