On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Gilbert Hernandez was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a Parole Violation after the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office received information as to his whereabouts from the community. Deputies responded to the 500 block of Upton where Hernandez was taken into custody without incident. While serving the arrest warrant, deputies also recovered a quantity of methamphetamine and a firearm. It is illegal for persons convicted of a felony offense and on parole to possess a firearm.
Gilbert Hernandez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on the Parole Violation and on numerous City of San Angelo warrants. Additional charges are expected to be filed in this case.
