On Thursday, April 04, 2024, as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the Roadway Inn Hotel, located at 2502 West Loop 306, San Angelo, Texas. During the execution of the warrant, Investigators located and seized approximately 8.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. The suspected party, Misty Walden, 37 years of age, was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance >=200g<400g (F1) and Tampering with Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair (F3).

Investigators with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division led the investigation and were assisted by Deputies with the Patrol Division, Special Agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (CID), and Special Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
