TGSO TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO LARGE METHAMPHETAMINE ARREST

In the early hours of Saturday, April 13th, Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division members conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation on the north side of San Angelo. An investigation led to the discovery of an amount of Marijuana and over 94 grams of Methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle, Wesley Mitcham (27 YOA), of San Angelo, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana < 2 OZ., Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1< =4G < 200G, a second felony, and three City of San Angelo warrants.
