At approximately 12:05 am this morning, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office received a report of an endangered runaway female subject in the Buffalo Heights area.        A night-long search for the juvenile extended into the early morning hours with the assistance of air assets of US Customs and Border Protection.    The search was additionally conducted by vehicle and by foot.    At approximately 11:45 AM, the juvenile was located by a Tom Green County deputy in the area on foot and safely returned to the parents.     

The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division and the Texas Highway Patrol also assisted in the search for the missing child.
