TOM GREEN COUNTY DEPUTIES LINK TRAFFIC STOP TO MORNING BURGLARY- SUSPECT SOUGHT IN CRIME

On 5/13/2025 at approximately 10:06 AM, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Poplar Lane for a report of Burglary of Habitation. Deputies arrived on scene and learned someone made entry into the residence and stole several items to include, a fridge, household goods, power tool and accessories and a door. Deputies conducted an investigation and took information for a report. 

On 5/13/2025 at approximately 2:33 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Ford F-150 for an unrelated traffic offense. Deputies lost sight of the pickup due to traffic conditions and when they located the vehicle, the occupants had fled on foot. Deputies conducted an investigation and learned the majority of the stolen items were in the pickup. Deputies have positively identified the driver who is now a suspect in the Burglary of Habitation taken earlier in the day.

Suspect is SANCHEZ, MICHAEL, GABRIEL, JR DOB 09/23/1998
