TOM GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CONDUCTS WARRANT ROUNDUP
On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office conducted a county-wide warrant roundup resulting in multiple arrests for felony offenses. The coordinated effort targeted individuals wanted on active warrants issued by area courts.
The following individuals were arrested during the operation:
John Vanbibber, 53, charged with Theft of Property ≥ $30,000 < $150,000. Bond: $25,000
John Jones, 23, charged with Assault of a Pregnant Person. Bond: $15,000
Devin Smith, 36, charged with Theft of Property ≥ $30,000 < $150,000. Bond: $15,000
Cesar Ponder, 53, charged with Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with Intent to Cause Bodily Injury. Bond: $25,000
Jacob Weaver, 20, charged with Credit or Debit Card Abuse. Bond: $15,000
Bryan Livingston, 23, charged with Credit or Debit Card Abuse. Bond: $15,000
Sheriff Nick Hanna commended the deputies, investigators, and support staff who worked together to locate and apprehend these individuals.
"Our office remains committed to ensuring that those with outstanding warrants are held accountable," said Sheriff Hanna. "These efforts are part of our ongoing mission to keep Tom Green County safe through proactive law enforcement."
