Update from last night's shooting incident near Veribest:
Investigators have confirmed that the victim from last night's shooting sustained a minimum of three gunshot wounds. The victim remains hospitalized and is currently listed in critical but stable condition. Deputies and investigators continue to actively work the case. The suspect, Gerardo Santos, remains in custody in the Tom Green County Jail under a $200,000.00 bond.
