In the month of February 2022, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office participated in the Select Traffic Enforcement Program and Commercial Motor Vehicle STEP.  Tom Green County Deputies conducted 165 traffic stops.  During these traffic stops, Deputies took 96 enforcement actions for speeding, 32 intersection violations, and 38 other infractions.  Four arrests were made, including one felony arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1.  Additionally, three wanted subjects were arrested.  These individuals had a combined total of fifteen outstanding warrants. 

The Tom Green County sheriff's Office is dedicated to making the highways in our county a safer place to drive.  We want everyone to remember to drive at a safe speed, do not follow too closely to other vehicles, and minimize distractions.
