On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the 2500 block of Bowie St. in San Angelo.

The Criminal Investigations Division had received a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTip which resulted in a Crimes Against Children investigation being conducted.

A suspect, Floyd Tumey, age 33, was found to be in possession of more than 80 videos and images depicting very young children engaging in sexual conduct.  As a result of the search, evidence of the crime was seized.  Floyd Tumey was arrested for five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, each of which is classified as a third-degree felony.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office continues to actively investigate these types of crimes and will continue to act on information received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
